2012-July
WireCo WorldGroup announces acquisition of the Lankhorst Euronete Group - a world leader in synthetic products with more than 200 years of experience.

2011-July
WireCo WorldGroup acquires Drumet, a leading manufacturer of wire rope, steel wire, and steel wire band in Wloclawek, Poland.

2010-November
WireCo WorldGroup Inc. (WireCo), the world’s leading producer and marketer of specialty wire ropes, acquired Grupo Oliveira Sá.

2007-December 
A holding company is created—Luis Oliveira Sá-S.G.P.S., S.A.— that holds the group's capital.

2007-October 
Cordoaria Oliveira Sá is approved for independent testing and certifying of steel wire ropes up to 80 mm diameter without end attachments in accordance with the rules and guidelines of Germanischer Lloyd.  

2007-May 
Test bench
A 500-ton testing bench is installed.

2005-December 
Test bench, unique machine in Europe, is installed to test synthetic ropes up to 500 ton with 3,5 stroke class 1.

2005-October 
Cordoaria Oliveira Sá supplies the steel wire ropes for the new shipping trawler from Miradouro company. Construction: Super Atlantic 32 mm. 

2005-February 
Cordoaria Oliveira Sá is approved as a manufacturer in accordance with the requirements of Lloyd's Register for Steel Wire Ropes up to a maximum of 60mm diameter. 

2004-January 
Cordoaria Oliveira Sá is certified by ISO 9001

1991
Cordoaria Oliveira Sá becomes a public limited company.

Cordoaria Oliveira Sá was registered as Manuel Rodrigues de Oliveira Sá & Filhos, Lda.

1825
